Terms and Conditions for India Holiday Planner

1. Booking and Confirmation
- Advance Deposit: A minimum non-refundable deposit (typically 20%–25% of the total tour cost) is required to initiate bookings for hotels and other arrangements.
- Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the initial deposit and an official confirmation email or invoice from India Holiday Planner.
- Full Payment: The balance amount must be cleared at least 30 days prior to the travel date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you must cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing via email. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date your written request is received:
- More than 60 days before arrival: 10%–25% of the total tour cost.
- 30 to 60 days before arrival: 25%–50% of the total tour cost.
- 15 to 29 days before arrival: 50%–75% of the total tour cost.
- Less than 7 days or No Show: 100% of the total tour cost (No Refund).
- Peak Season: Bookings for festivals (Diwali, Holi, etc.) and peak season (Dec 20 – Jan 15) are generally non-refundable once confirmed.

3. Amendments and Changes
- Client Changes: Any amendments to the itinerary (dates, number of travelers, etc.) after confirmation will attract administrative fees plus any additional costs levied by hotels or transporters.
- Company Changes: We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, road blocks). We will offer suitable alternatives where possible.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Independent Contractors: India Holiday Planner acts as a facilitator between you and independent contractors (hotels, airlines, transporters). We are not liable for any deficiency in service, delay, or injury caused by these third parties.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any loss or delay caused by "Acts of God" (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, war, or government restrictions).
- Personal Belongings: Baggage and personal property are at the traveler's risk at all times.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
- Identification: It is mandatory to carry a valid photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) while on tour.
- Insurance: We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and loss of luggage.
- Visas and Health: Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid visas and meeting all health/vaccination requirements for their destination.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All disputes arising out of this agreement are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
